Relationships, Research, Resources
The SHINE Initiative is committed to strong relationships, research, and resources. It is critical that our generous donors, grant applicants, and community at large can count on us to carefully distribute and monitor the use of the financial gifts we are given.
SHINE, and its Board of Directors, partners, and volunteers are dedicated to building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate, community, and nonprofit leaders in Fort Worth and its surrounding areas.
SHINE's Grant Application Reviewers conduct thorough research into the requests of our grant recipients and are committed to extensive evaluation during the implementation of the grant's intended programs.
SHINE leverages its resources to have a greater effect on the lives of the girls and women in our community by encouraging and equipping existing organizations to expand or introduce program offerings in our five key focus areas, Organizations often struggle to expand or introduce additional efforts because funding is limited for initiatives without substantial research or a strong record of past success. SHINE is privileged to provide seed money for organizations to get important and innovative programs off the ground to help meet more needs. The SHINE Initiative is able to reach more girls and women with our donor dollars than any of us would individually. As such, our Rise and SHINE Grant Program helps make a greater impact on our community overall.
